When Activists Fall in Love...
Published October 21, 2009 @ 10:11AM PT

Dear readers,
I am thrilled to announce that I will be taking a week hiatus from blogging at Change.org to get married on Friday to a fellow urban planning PhD and former VISTA volunteer. He is the light of my life and we share many passions and interests, including a commitment to anti-poverty work, community development and positive social change. Greg Plotkin, my inestimable hunger blogger, will be holding down the fort in my absence. I look forward to catching up with you all and resuming blogging next Wednesday, October 28. Be good and stay active in my absence!
Sincerely,
Leigh

Love is Love-No matter the nationality. You deserve the best. May your marriage have all the ease of a famous stone, and none of the blarney.
